Frontiers of Single Cell Analysis, Stanford, September 5 through 7, 2013

Dear Colleagues,

Daniel Chiu and I are pleased to invite you to take part in the “Frontiers of Single Cell Analysis” conference, which will be held at Stanford on September 5-7, 2013. This conference continues a series initiated by Dr. Hideki Kambara from Hitachi as part of the Single-Cell Surveyor initiative, and is also the 7th International Workshop on Approaches to Single-Cell Analysis in that series.

We have assembled a distinguished list of speakers, all leading investigators in this emerging and exciting area, from all over the world. These speakers are doing cutting edge work developing advanced methodology for probing all aspects of the properties and dynamics of single cells, what makes cells different, and how these differences affect development and disease. While broad in scope, we hope to emphasize recent works related to neuroscience, cancer and stem cell biology.

We hope to attract a broad audience of scientists, scientists from industry, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows for this 2½ day event. The meeting will be held in a central location on the Stanford campus, with excellent opportunities for interactions among all participants. It is also an ideal time of year to visit the Bay Area.

Two poster sessions are scheduled. If you would like to display a poster, you can request a template for abstract submission during the registration process.

Registration is now open. We look forward to seeing you at Stanford in September.
